Job summary

UnitedHealth Group seeks a Chief Data Officer to set and execute an enterprise data strategy, improving data reliability, accessibility, and business value across the organization. The role governs data, enables AI at scale, and collaborates with business and technology leaders to drive adoption and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of leadership experience in data, analytics, governance, and/or technology/AI.
• Proven experience leading enterprise data strategy and transformation in large, global organizations.
• Demonstrated success operating in federated models with governance and decision frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the enterprise data strategy aligned to priorities and AI enablement.
• Establish enterprise data standards, governance policies, and guardrails in a federated model.
• Define the enterprise data operating model and ownership across central and business teams.
• Partner with CIOs and business leaders to align priorities and drive execution.
• Translate data strategy into measurable business impact and improved outcomes.
• Lead enterprise forums and represent UnitedHealth Group in external forums.
