Job summary

The South Carolina Department of Administration seeks a visionary Chief Data Officer to lead the Office of State Data and define the state's data governance, strategy, and analytics framework.

You will partner with agencies, set statewide policies, manage data quality and security, and drive responsible use of data and AI to improve government operations and public services. This newly created executive role reports to the Deputy Chief of Staff, with travel as needed.
