Job summary

Universal Orlando Resort seeks a Director, Principal Data Architect to shape the data foundation for growth, AI transformation, and guest experience enhancements. You will lead end‑to‑end data solutions, establish governance, and drive secure, scalable architectures across enterprise platforms.

You will mentor the data architecture team, collaborate with executives, and ensure data platforms enable advanced analytics and automated decisioning.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading data architecture for large, complex environments.
• Deep knowledge of data modeling, lakehouse patterns, and cloud data warehouses.
• Experience with governance frameworks and cross‑border data requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own data architecture strategy and target-state design for enterprise scale.
• Lead Data Architecture Review Board and enforce standards.
• Drive data governance design, ownership, and stewardship across domains.
• Define AI/ML data readiness and feature data patterns for deployments.
• Develop and mentor the data architecture team and partners.
