We are currently hiring for a Senior Data Architect leader to join the team working in our global data practice. The ideal candidate will have a background in data governance, especially the implementation of data governance technologies such as data cataloguing tools and

Responsibilities:

• Improve data steward role definitions and guide / mentor data stewards to effectively assume their roles in select domains
• Improve data catalogue definitions, especially the data lineage for prioritised business entities within the data domains
• Provide steer and guidance to implementation of Alation Metadata platform
• Support the creation of a data product definition and implementation lifecycle, working with various stakeholders from a regulatory and security compliance perspective.

Experience Required:

• At least 10 years of data architecture leadership experience, with recent experience in the Insurance industry
• Deep knowledge of industry standards such as ACCORD
• Strategic thinking with strong communication and workshop facilitation skills
• Experience in implementing data catalogues and lineage
• Hands-on experience on enterprise technologies such as Collibra or Alation
• One end to end data project experience that includes creating data owner/steward roles and responsibility handbooks, initiating and facilitating governance forums and creating data governance frameworks.
• CDMP certification (preferred)
