Job summary

FullStack seeks a Chief Data Officer - Data & AI Governance to lead governance initiatives for AI-enabled products. You will work directly with clients, guiding data strategy and policy across cloud ecosystems and regulatory landscapes.

Two paths: team augmentation into client teams or design & build on a FullStack product team. Advanced English, a four-year degree, and extensive leadership in data functions are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data, analytics, or technology roles.
• 5+ years of leadership scaling cross-functional data teams.
• Established data governance, data classification, and regulatory compliance in production.
• Designed enterprise data architecture strategy across AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Built data policy and governance for AI tools and data classification methods.
• Reported data strategy to executive leadership and Boards of Directors.
• Experience in mortgage/financial services regulatory compliance and privacy.
• Advanced English is required.
• Four-year college degree is required.
• Forensic attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
• Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams.
• Experience with large, complex systems.
• Ability to take extreme ownership over work.
• Ability to align with client goals and deliver commitments.

Responsibilities

• Lead data governance and policy development for AI tools.
• Define and drive enterprise data architecture across cloud platforms.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and data privacy across products.
• Report data strategy and governance metrics to executives and Boards.
• Collaborate with client teams on augmentation or product development.
