Job summary

The Security Executive Council is seeking a Head of Cybersecurity & Information Security Oversight (SVP) in Boston, MA. This role involves leading the Cybersecurity Risk Oversight function, advising senior executives, and managing regulatory interactions.

The ideal candidate will possess over 15 years of experience in financial services or technology, with a proven track record in senior cybersecurity roles. Responsibilities include establishing cyber risk governance and developing relationships with regulators while managing diverse cybersecurity initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in financial or technology industries.
• At least 5 years in executive roles as a CISO, Deputy CISO, or equivalent.
• Experience in first line cybersecurity operations.

Responsibilities

• Establish and operate the global Cybersecurity Risk Oversight function.
• Serve as a risk advisor to the State Street Global CISO function.
• Lead second line regulatory interaction for Cyber Risk.
