M&T Bank in Buffalo, NY seeks a Head of Corporate Technology to define and execute the technology vision for Finance, Risk, Legal, HR, and Corporate Functions. The role leads modernization, cloud adoption, and digital transformation while ensuring compliance and resilience across enterprise platforms.
The ideal candidate brings 15+ years in technology leadership, deep banking domain knowledge, and the ability to influence at the executive level to deliver scalable, secure solutions.
Competenze
- Combined minimum of 15 years’ higher education and/or work experience.
- At least 4 years engineering and/or architecture experience and 11 years' large technology management / program leadership experience including people management.
- Experience as Engineering Director or comparable senior technology executive responsible for enterprise-scale portfolios.
- Extensive banking or financial services experience with deep domain expertise in Finance and Risk.
- Experience leading modernization/transformation initiatives including cloud migration and platform modernization.

- Define and execute technology strategy for Finance, Risk, Legal, HR, and Corporate Functions aligned with enterprise objectives.
- Serve as primary technology partner to senior executives, guiding investments and modernization opportunities.
- Lead large-scale modernization programs, cloud adoption, and digital enablement initiatives.
- Drive AI capabilities adoption across functions to improve efficiency and risk management.
