MoonPay is strengthening its control environment to support a fast-evolving financial services platform. We are hiring a Chief Control Officer to lead a robust first-line risk and control framework across fiduciary, custody, and regulated activities in the US banking context.

You will partner with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Internal Audit, and business leaders to ensure accountability, ownership, and scalable controls as MoonPay grows and innovates in value movement.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in US banking or regulated financial services with leadership in control functions.
• Experience designing, implementing, and improving first-line control frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of fiduciary, custody, and regulated financial services activities.
• Proven ability to operate in high-ambiguity, fast-scaling environments.
• Deep understanding of the three lines of defence model and governance.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive remediation.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the first-line risk and control framework across MoonPay activities.
• Embed controls into business processes translating regulations into practical controls.
• Establish a robust control monitoring and testing program with remediation reporting.
• Develop the framework for fiduciary, custody, and regulated financial services tasks.
• Partner across Risk, Compliance, Legal, Internal Audit to ensure clear ownership.
• Build scalable control infrastructure to handle increasing complexity.
