Job summary

Gemini is seeking a senior compliance leader to drive the consumer compliance program for deposit, lending products, and credit cards. You will scale the program, balance regulatory requirements with product features, and communicate effectively with product, technology, legal, risk, and banking partners.

This role reports to the Global Chief Compliance Officer and collaborates with the Board. The ideal candidate has deep familiarity with consumer finance regulations, a solutions-oriented

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; CRCM or JD preferred.
• 10+ years of compliance experience in credit/banking/fintech.
• At least 4+ years overseeing a consumer compliance program.
• Deep knowledge of lending/banking laws including UDAAP, TILA, ECOA, FCRA, etc.
• Proven oversight of a Compliance Management System (CMS).

Responsibilities

• Oversee consumer compliance program for credit and banking products.
• Advise on new product development, changes, and marketing initiatives.
• Lead a team of compliance professionals for monitoring, testing, and reporting.
• Report to the Board and governance committees regularly.
• Serve as liaison with sponsor bank partner and regulators.
• Respond to audits, examinations, and regulatory inquiries.
• Lead risk assessments and cross-functional risk management.
• Oversee the company's fair lending program as Fair Lending Officer.
• Ensure vendor oversight and remediation of high-priority issues.
• Stay current on regulatory changes and implement forward-thinking practices.
• Provide timely guidance on policy issues to Gemini staff.
