Job summary

Prisma Health is seeking a Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer to lead the organization’s corporate compliance, privacy, and internal audit programs. This role reports directly to the CEO and FA C Committee and ensures adherence to OIG, CMS, HIPAA, and applicable laws across Prisma Health, Promise Health Plan, and Invio Network.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• Ten years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare compliance, privacy, internal audit, legal, regulatory, or governance functions.
• At least five years in senior executive leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and ensures quality compliance, privacy and internal audit programs and controls.
• Oversees regulatory compliance, Medicare/Medicaid, billing and coding, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback, EMTALA, 340B, and related requirements.
• Provides governance oversight and reports to the Finance, Audit and Compliance Committee.
• Reviews contracts and data use agreements for compliant provisions and information handling practices.
