Job summary

Boston Legacy FC is seeking a Vice President of Community & Development to lead our community engagement strategy and develop the funding function that supports it. You will cultivate major donors, corporate partners, and foundations while working closely with civic leaders in Boston and Brockton.

The role carries executive accountability, requiring a start-up mindset, evenings and weekends, and the ability to travel across the region to build meaningful community partnerships.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in community engagement, public affairs, government, nonprofit development, or related fields.
• Ties to civic and philanthropic networks across Boston and Brockton.
• Experience building community programs at senior or executive level.
• Track record in nonprofit development and grant fundraising.

Responsibilities

• Set the Club's multi-year community engagement strategy for Boston and Brockton.
• Build and lead the development function, guiding donors and partnerships.
• Represent the Club to donors, foundations, and philanthropic partners.
• Partner with leadership to align strategy with organizational goals.
• Oversee impact reporting and data-driven investment decisions.
