Qualifications

• Experience handling media briefings and press conferences.
• Excellent speechwriting skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for local, regional, national and international media.
• Write press releases and manage the approval process with leadership.
• Prepare District Attorney and staff for press conferences and on-camera appearances.
• Oversee social media accounts and develop communications content.
• Produce newsletters, annual reports and other publications.
• Provide counsel on media interactions and crisis communications.
• Manage relationships with law enforcement and government partners.
