Korn Ferry Executive Search is seeking a Chief Commercial Officer to lead the organization’s commercial strategy, accelerate revenue growth, and align go-to-market with workforce development goals.

Reporting to the CEO, the CCO will build and optimize a high-performing sales and account management organization, forge innovative partnerships, and drive employer engagement across markets while creating durable revenue streams that support the mission.

The client is on a mission to help young adults build skills and career opportunities, and seeks a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to help reimagine and accelerate its commercial strategy. The CCO will join the executive leadership team and report to the Chief Executive Officer, leading enterprise revenue growth and go-to-market strategy. This role focuses on building and optimizing a high-performing sales and account management organization to generate and retain employer partnerships, expand workforce solutions, and drive sustainable earned revenue growth that supports the organization’s mission.

The CCO is expected to bring an entrepreneurial mindset and strong commercial acumen, translating market opportunities into scalable business solutions and developing innovative partnerships that produce measurable growth. Responsibilities typically include partnering with Finance to create financial models and business cases, identifying new market opportunities, and strengthening commercial discipline and creativity across existing assets. The role will also use data, market intelligence, and financial analysis to evaluate growth opportunities and optimize sales performance.

In collaboration with internal leaders across Marketing, Finance, Program and Delivery, and Product, the CCO will align customer acquisition and account expansion with organizational priorities and workforce development solutions. The role will emphasize understanding customer needs and ensuring teams address partner requirements, while reinforcing a customer-centric culture and strengthening The client’s position as a workforce talent solutions provider. Consistent with organizational values, the CCO is expected to provide direct service to students in line with staff expectations, such as joint coaching, mentoring, and tutoring.
