  • Established relationships across the US banking and financial services ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the commercial strategy for the US business.
  • Build and own the go-to-market plan across banks and non-bank financial institutions.
  • Drive revenue growth, pipeline generation, forecasting, and commercial performance.
  • Develop strategic partnerships and enterprise sales opportunities across the financial services ecosystem.
  • Present commercial strategy and growth plans to executive leadership and board stakeholders.
  • Personally lead strategic sales cycles with banks and financial institutions.
  • Build executive-level relationships across treasury, payments, operations, and product organizations.
  • Manage complex commercial negotiations and enterprise procurement processes.
  • Serve as an executive sponsor for key client relationships.
  • Build, mentor, and scale a commercial organization spanning sales, account management, and solution engineering.
  • Create scalable operating processes, forecasting disciplines, and performance frameworks.
  • Develop leadership talent and establish a high-performance culture.
  • Partner closely with Product, Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Executive Leadership.
  • Provide market feedback to influence product strategy and roadmap development.
  • Support regulatory and client onboarding initiatives where required.

About the Opportunity A rapidly growing financial infrastructure business is seeking a Chief Commercial Officer to lead and scale its US commercial organization. This is a rare opportunity to join the executive leadership team of a regulated banking platform focused on clearing, treasury, and payment infrastructure.


The successful candidate will own commercial strategy, enterprise sales, go-to-market execution, and revenue growth across the US market, while helping shape the future of a high-growth banking and financial services business. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution. Initially, the successful candidate will personally lead flagship client engagements while building and developing a high-performing commercial organization across sales, account management, and solution engineering.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Define and execute the commercial strategy for the US business.

  • Build and own the go-to-market plan across banks and non-bank financial institutions.

  • Drive revenue growth, pipeline generation, forecasting, and commercial performance.

  • Develop strategic partnerships and enterprise sales opportunities across the financial services ecosystem.

Ideal Background We are particularly interested in senior commercial leaders who can demonstrate:


  • Extensive experience selling financial infrastructure, treasury, payments, clearing, transaction banking, or banking technology solutions.

  • Strong understanding of regulated financial institutions and complex enterprise sales cycles.

  • Experience working within a bank, banking platform, BaaS provider, sponsor bank, or financial infrastructure business.

  • A track record of leading and scaling large commercial organizations while remaining hands-on when required.

  • Experience navigating bank procurement, vendor risk, compliance, and regulatory stakeholders.

  • Established relationships across the US banking and financial services ecosystem.

  • The ability to operate effectively at both executive strategy and front-line commercial levels.
