Job summary

Trinity Health Michigan is seeking its next Chief Clinical Officer who will be a data-driven, strategic clinical and operational executive. The CCO bridges clinical care, emerging technologies, and Trinity Health's strategy across THMI’s Clinical and Medical Staff Services, Quality, Patient Safety, Research, GME and Care Management programs.

The role reports to the President and CEO, serving on THMI's Executive Team and leading system-wide quality and safety initiatives, regulatory compliance,

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification and Michigan license.
• Advanced business degree in healthcare management or MBA preferred.
• 5–10 years in a medical leadership role with multi-location experience.
• Experience with physician contracting, proformas and finance.
• Ability to interpret complex health datasets and predictive models.

Responsibilities

• Leads quality, patient safety, risk management and care management strategies.
• Oversees regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Represents THMI to boards and external organizations (e.g. professional societies).
• Drives AI/tech integration and analytics usage to improve outcomes.
• Provides strategic direction for THMI Clinical and Medical Staff Services.
