Job summary

Sound Anesthesia in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Chief CRNA to lead perioperative care at a Level I trauma center. You will collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons and CRNAs to deliver comprehensive anesthesia services, participate in QA initiatives, and promote a patient-centered approach within a strong clinical team.

Qualifications

• NBCRNA certified (or eligible if a student).
• Active FL license to practice anesthesia.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative and postoperative care for a Level I trauma center with cardiac, OB/GYN, general, pediatrics, ortho, neuro, and vascular surgeries.
• Collaborate with CRNAs, anesthesiologists, surgeons and other clinicians to deliver anesthesia services.
• Participate in quality assurance efforts and ensure patient care requirements are met.
• Assess and prioritize projects; work effectively within a team.
• Adhere to Code of Conduct and Core Values: Quality, Service, Integrity, Innovation, Teamwork.
• Interact professionally with colleagues and patients; promote Sound’s mission.
• Support the profession of Nurse Anesthesia and Sound in the community.

Local Team Collaboration

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative and postoperative care for a Level I trauma center offering cardiac, OB/GYN, general, pediatrics, ortho, neuro, and vascular surgeries.
• Works in collaboration with CRNAs, anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other physicians and medical professionals to ensure appropriate anesthesia services are delivered.
• Participates in quality assurance efforts, ensuring patient care requirements are met.
• Effectively assesses and prioritizes various projects. Demonstrates a willingness to work as a team.

Scheduling

• An average 40-hour work week.
• Mixture of 8, 10, and 12 hour shifts.
• 2nd call approx. 1:40 days with call back pay.

Qualifications

• NBCRNA certified (or to be certified if a student).
• Active FL license.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
