Baltimore City Department of Transportation (BCDOT) seeks a Chief of Bridges and Structures to lead the City's bridge and structural infrastructure program. You will oversee planning, design, construction, inspection, maintenance, and rehabilitation of city bridges and related structures.

Reporting to the Chief of Transportation Engineering and Construction, you will manage capital projects, contracts, and investment priorities to ensure on-schedule, on-budget delivery.

Qualificações

• Demonstrated experience delivering complex bridge or transportation infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
• Knowledge of federal transportation funding requirements and agencies.

Responsabilidades

• Lead bridge and structural projects from planning through construction, managing schedules and budgets.
• Incorporate Complete Streets principles into rehabilitation and replacement projects.
• Develop multi-year capital programs for bridge rehabilitations and replacements.
• Oversee federally funded projects and coordination with FHWA/MDOT SHA.
• Evaluate and implement delivery methods to accelerate project outcomes.
• Oversee inspection, maintenance, and asset management programs for bridges.
• Coordinate emergency responses and manage contract performance.
