Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of avionics engineering experience.
• Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience shipping embedded or avionics systems in production.
• Strong grasp of RTOS, microcontrollers/SoCs/FPGA, and hardware/software integration.
• Experience leading technical projects or engineering teams.
• Solid understanding of system architecture and embedded design.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical vision and roadmap for avionics across spacecraft platforms.
• Own system architecture across avionics, hardware interfaces, and system integration.
• Lead design and development of avionics, EMI/EMC, and test infrastructure.
• Build and lead a team of avionics engineers and set development standards.
• Ensure robust communication across subsystems and subsystems leads.
• Drive end-to-end development from concept to flight readiness.
• Collaborate with other spacecraft teams for seamless integration.
• Establish testing strategies including HIL and simulation environments.
• Optimize systems for power, thermal, and radiation constraints.
• Guide component selection, vendors, and manufacturing processes.
