Qualifications

• 7+ years in internal audit, risk, or compliance with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls and audit methodologies.
• Ability to communicate with executive leadership and boards.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for the internal audit function.
• Develop risk-based annual audit plans and priorities.
• Ensure audits comply with professional standards and UNC System requirements.
• Lead investigations and special reviews when needed.
• Report findings to Chancellor and Board committees.
