Leadership Skills
10+ years experience providing end-to-end architecture, design guidance, and governance for large-scale strategic initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams through complex technical challenges.
Skilled at translating product roadmaps, business goals, and technology strategies into actionable architectural solutions.
Experience managing staffing, financial planning, vendor engagement, risk management, compliance, and governance processes; Bank of America experience preferred.
Proven experience leading infrastructure production support organizations.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills across executive, business, and technical teams.
10+ years designing, deploying, and managing highly resilient, scalable, and secure infrastructure platforms.
Proven expertise in architecting highly available network solutions leveraging load balancing, failover mechanisms, and enterprise firewall technologies.
Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL database technologies, including Oracle, MongoDB, CockroachDB, and PostgreSQL.
Extensive experience with middleware and integration platforms, including Apache, JBoss, MuleSoft, Kafka, Liberty, and WebLogic.
Strong understanding of enterprise data networking, connectivity, and distributed systems architecture.
Proven track record leading large-scale enterprise technology initiatives in architecture, engineering, development, and deployment leadership roles.
Experience designing and implementing cloud-native solutions across AWS and Microsoft Azure environments.
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, including Terraform-based automation and provisioning.
Advanced experience creating architectural diagrams, solution designs, and technical documentation using Microsoft Visio.

Responsibilities

Creates solution intent and architectural vision and converts to a technology backlog.
Contributes to architecture roadmap for defined domains (Business, Application, Data, Technology).
Clarifies architecture and assists with system design to support implementation.
Leads design of complex architectures and finds creative, modular solutions.
Educates team on technology practices and standardization strategies.
Supports selecting technology stack and preferred products.
Performs design and code reviews to ensure non-functional requirements are met.
Provides end-to-end technical leadership for complex initiatives and mitigates risks.
