Job summary

RTI International seeks a Managing Director to lead the NC DIU OnRamp Hub, driving strategic direction, partnerships, and operational excellence. You will interface with RTI leadership, DIU, industry, academia, and government to advance national security technology adoption.

The role requires onsite work daily, strong diplomacy, and the ability to build trusted relationships across a broad stakeholder network. You will shape programs and ensure compliance with cooperative agreements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Significant experience leading complex programs and partnerships in defense, government, or dual-use innovation ecosystems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the North Carolina DIU OnRamp Hub as chief executive, setting vision, direction, and performance.
• Engage with DoW, DIU leadership, industry, academia, investors, and government partners to advance priorities.
• Ensure compliance with cooperative agreement requirements and effective operational delivery.
• Translate mission needs into actionable strategies, engagement plans, and decision-support materials.
• Represent the hub at conferences, meetings, and strategic initiatives.
