Job summary

World Wide Technology (WWT) is seeking a Chief Architect to define and govern the organization's technology architecture strategy for federal customers. This role provides technical leadership across enterprise, solutions, data, security, and infrastructure architectures while driving modernization, scalability, and operational excellence on-site in Chandler, AZ.

You will ensure alignment with business goals, establish governance, and collaborate with vendors, partners, and government agencies

Qualifications

• Security Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
• 12+ years of experience in IT, systems engineering, software development, or architecture.
• 5+ years of experience in a senior architecture or technical leadership role
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, cybersecurity, networking, and data architecture.
• Experience leading cross-functional technical teams.
• Compliance Certification: Active DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level III certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of enterprise-wide technology solutions.

What will you be doing?

This role provides technical leadership across enterprises, solutions, data, security, and infrastructure architectures while driving innovation, modernization, scalability, and operational excellence

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design of enterprise-wide technology solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in IT, systems engineering, software development, or architecture.
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior architecture or technical leadership role
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, cybersecurity, networking, and data architecture.
• Experience leading cross-functional technical teams.
• Compliance Certification: Active DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level III certification.

Preferred Experience

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Cloud certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Architect).
• Experience with government, defense, healthcare, or regulated industries.
• Experience with DevSecOps, AI/ML, data analytics, and digital transformation initiatives.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $200,000.00 to $215,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.
