Job summary

Soledad Data Solutions is seeking a senior engineering leader to own technology end-to-end, including research, product engineering, MLOps, security, and platform work that enables small teams to achieve outsized results.

You will partner with the founder on company strategy, represent the company to customers, partners, and the broader research community, and help shape fundraising and strategic partnerships.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering leadership in ML/AI driven orgs.
• Proven track record shipping and operating ML/AI products at scale.
• Experience recruiting and retaining top technical talent.
• Comfortable presenting to customers, regulators, and investors.

Responsibilities

• Set and refine the multi-year technical roadmap.
• Hire, mentor, and retain a high-trust senior team.
• Establish engineering standards, security posture, and on-call culture.
• Partner with founder on fundraising, partnerships, and customer escalations.
• Be a credible external voice through talks, papers, and customer conversations.
