Job summary

Keck Graduate Institute seeks a dynamic Vice President of Advancement in Claremont, CA to translate the institute’s mission into philanthropic partnerships. You will lead the Advancement team, develop strategies for major gifts, annual giving, and campaigns, and steward a broad donor network including foundations, corporations, alumni, and individuals.

The role requires senior leadership with a proven track record in fundraising, strategic relationship cultivation, and marketing acumen.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Eight years of progressive development and management experience.
• Proven record in strategic relationship development and major gifts fundraising.
• Advanced degree or fundraising certification preferred.
• Experience applying marketing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead advancement strategy and oversee annual and operating plans.
• Develop and manage major gifts, campaigns, and donor stewardship.
• Drive alumni engagement and community relations initiatives.
• Collaborate with President and Trustees on fundraising activities.
• Maintain accurate donor records and metrics via CRM.
