Job summary

Our Children's Trust seeks a Chief Advancement Officer to lead the organization's public presence, fundraising strength, and long-term sustainability. This senior leader will align engagement, fundraising, and communications with OCT's youth-centered mission and litigation priorities.

The CAO partners with the Executive Director to transform legal victories into philanthropic support, scale programs, and ensure operational excellence through trauma-informed leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of senior leadership experience in fundraising, communications, advocacy, or movement-based organizations.
• OR Associate's degree and 8+ years of fundraising experience
• OR Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of fundraising experience
• OR Master's degree and 4+ years of fundraising experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee an integrated engagement strategy spanning fundraising, communications, and public education.
• Lead fundraising strategy to meet and exceed annual and multi-year revenue goals.
• Direct brand, media, and storytelling to elevate youth voices and legal impact.
• Oversee audience growth, education initiatives, and community engagement efforts.
• Manage finance, operations, and organizational systems to ensure sustainability.
