Job summary

Qualifications

• Significant senior-level fundraising and advancement experience within a nonprofit.
• Proven success cultivating, soliciting, and closing gifts including eight figures.
• Capital campaign leadership including strategy and donor development.
• Strong knowledge of New York City’s philanthropic landscape and networks.
• Experience leading and developing multi-layered teams.
• Excellent communication, listening, and relationship-building skills.
• Familiarity with workforce development, food/hospitality, and social impact is valued.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute a multi-year advancement strategy driving revenue growth and resilience.
• Personally cultivate, solicit, and steward top donors including major gifts.
• Oversee capital campaign and annual fundraising programs.
• Partner with CEO, Board, and leadership to engage stakeholders and align priorities.
• Represent Hot Bread Kitchen at external events and with funders.
