Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board certification in General Surgery.
• Board certification in Surgical Critical Care.
• Eligibility for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor at NYU Grossman School of Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative leadership for Emergency General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care.
• Teach and supervise fellows, residents, advanced practice providers, and medical students.
• Collaborate with Anesthesiology and other divisions within the department.
• Develop the division's structure, staffing model, and clinical guidelines.
