• Provide clinical and administrative leadership for Emergency General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care.
• Teach and supervise fellows, residents, advanced practice providers, and medical students.
• Collaborate with Anesthesiology and other divisions within the department.
• Develop the division's structure, staffing model, and clinical guidelines.

Emergency General Surgery | Surgical Critical Care

The Department of Surgery at NYU Langone Health is seeking a dynamic, accomplished, full-time academic surgeon-leader to serve as Chief, Acute Care Surgery at its Manhattan campus. This position provides clinical and administrative leadership for Emergency General Surgery (EGS) and Surgical Critical Care at one of the nation's leading quaternary referral centers.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical and technical skills, demonstrate exceptional outcomes, and take a collaborative approach to patient care. The selected candidate must be able to work effectively with colleagues both within and outside the division.

Please note: The Manhattan campus is not a designated trauma center.
