What you'll be doing:

In this role, you will ensure that all Record to Report activities are performed accurately and in line with our Standard Operating Procedures. You'll oversee the COE R2R team, ensuring all accounting activities and company reporting meet statutory and corporate requirements. You'll be responsible for timely and accurate financial statements and tax requirements, and ensure that monthly financial close processes are completed efficiently. Your work will give General Managers and Finance Directors the confidence to sign off on financial statements.

Key responsibilities:

• Performing accounting tasks to ensure accurate monthly reporting.
• Maintaining up-to-date accounting records for the Commercial Market.
• Reviewing monthly financial reports for corporate purposes.
• Managing USGAAP vs Statutory adjustments and filing statutory financial statements.
• Leading annual statutory audits and managing inspections.
• Preparing commentary for quarterly certification processes and statutory forecasts.
• Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring compliance with SOX controls.
• Collaborating with local statutory service providers and offering tax advisory for projects.
• Working with various teams to improve processes and build positive relationships.
• Continuously seeking ways to improve efficiency and quality of processes.

What we're looking for:

• Over 4 years of experience in finance/accounting, preferably in a multinational company.
• Diploma in Finance/Accounting and a professional accounting certification.
• Strong knowledge of accounting systems, IFRS, and US GAAP standards.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Understanding of a multi-cultural work environment.
• Leadership skills to develop and motivate a team.
• High learning agility and a proactive approach.
• Curiosity and a commitment to continuous self-improvement and process enhancement.
