Job summary

United Way of Greater St. Louis is seeking a visionary Vice President of 211 & Community Navigation Systems to lead 24/7 multi-channel navigation, data insights, and partnerships across 16 bi-state counties.

This executive role shapes access to health and human services and strengthens the safety net. You will oversee strategy, operations, and funding for the 211 system and Community Information Exchange, driving measurable impact and sustainable community support through collaboration with

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years in leadership roles within human services or call center management
• Five years in a 211 or similar setting
• Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and partnerships

Responsibilities

• Oversee 24/7 multi-channel service operation, quality assurance, and the technology/database systems, ensuring a positive user experience across adopted programs and services
• Create policies and procedures, enhance operations, coordinate strategic planning and comprehensive reporting
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date resource databases and ensure compliance with standards
• Manage budgets and contracts for assigned programs
• Develop monetization and grant strategies for leveraging core competencies
• Secure and maintain relationships with national, regional, state and local partners
• Lead and support development of Community Information Exchange (CIE) systems
• Lead and train multidisciplinary teams and build a culture of service excellence
• Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting; translate needs into actionable insights
