Job summary

Palmer College of Chiropractic seeks a Dean of Academic Affairs for the Florida Campus. You will oversee Doctor of Chiropractic programs, supervise faculty and staff, lead strategic planning and budgeting, and ensure integration of clinical and classroom education to advance student outcomes.

The role requires a doctoral-level education and substantial administrative experience in higher education or chiropractic programs, with a track record of program development and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to faculty and staff to maintain high quality academic programs.
• Represents Palmer College locally and nationally, promoting the college's reputation.
• Identifies external partners to promote Palmer College and build business relationships.
• Supervises faculty and staff per the Florida Faculty Handbook and directs faculty evaluations.
• Coordinates the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) to enhance faculty development.
• Oversees curricula development, assessment and performance across academic programs.
• Ensures integration of clinical and classroom education and alignment with planning and budgeting.
• Works with Clinic Affairs and other divisions to support College programs.
