Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related Higher Education leadership.
• 10+ years of senior-level financial experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of higher education experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience within a complex organization.
• Demonstrated experience in academic administration, budgeting, policy development, and shared governance.
• Strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic/analytical communication skills.
• Excellent ability to build partnerships with faculty, deans, and senior administrators.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the senior advisor to the Provost on financial planning and resource alignment within Academic Affairs.
• Develops financial planning, enrollment, and modeling strategies to support annual financial goals, enrollment and revenue targets, and budgetary strategies for the academic enterprise.
• Partners with the Office of Finance, central administration, and across Academic Affairs to align academic and university financial goals.
• Directs and monitors the annual revenue and expense budgets for academic operations, including funds in collaboration with deans and budget committees.
• Monitors financial performance and recommends areas for improvement across schools and units.
• Develops strategic actions with each school to address budget shortfalls and prioritize investments.
• Conducts cost/benefit analyses and evaluations for programs, staffing, and capital projects for the Office of the Provost.
• Oversees executive leadership of key non-departmental academic units and fosters a culture of collaboration and accountability.
