Job summary

Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) invites applications for the Dean of the Faculty at Wesley Seminary. The role provides academic leadership, partners with executive leadership to ensure mission-grounded, rigorous programs, and guides faculty development and accreditation processes.

Reporting to the EVP, the Dean leads curriculum oversight, program innovation, and cross-functional collaboration to advance theological education and Kingdom partnerships in a global church context.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in graduate-level teaching and academic leadership.
• Experience with curriculum development and program assessment.
• Familiarity with accreditation standards (ATS/HLC) and theological education.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision and leadership for Wesley Seminary's academic quality and faculty development.
• Oversee recruitment, mentoring, evaluation, promotion, and annual reviews of faculty.
• Lead program innovation, new credential proposals, and delivery models to drive enrollment growth.
• Represent the Seminary in external academic contexts and strengthen academic partnerships.
