Job summary

CoreCivic in California City, CA is seeking a Chief to oversee security operations across our detention facilities. You will ensure safe staffing, uphold standards, and act as a key liaison with partners and staff.

You will drive compliance with policies, supervise units, and monitor performance against goals, while maintaining safety for staff and inmates. This role also emphasizes leadership in a secure setting and operational excellence.

• Coordinate and monitor the overall security operations of the facility.
• Promote compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, rules, regulations and standards.
• Coordinate and monitor the quality of unit management services delivered within an institution.
• Ensure that employees adhere to applicable policies, procedures, rules, regulations and standards.
• Supervise and monitor the performance of units in comparison to the documented goals, objectives, and expectations.
