Qualifications

• Knowledge of OpenTable and Seven Rooms Reservation System.
• General computer knowledge.
• Must be able to multitask in a VIP driven environment.
• Must be able to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift.
• Must manage multi-line phone.

Job description

The Host Person is responsible for engaging, greeting, and seating guests, in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. The ideal candidate will be able to seat guests and manage the flow of reservations to maximize the guest experience. They will also be responsible for answering the phone and taking, tracking, and organizing reservations, to-go orders, and special requests. Receive a cash bank from the cashier for every shift and assist guests with any menu related questions they may have.

• Approaches guest and collects information needed to assist with seating.
• Constantly provides guests with accurate information about the restaurant and property as well as entertainment offered in each restaurant and nightlife venue, as well as offering to make future reservations at any of the guest’s preferred venues
• Works with a sense of urgency to anticipate guest and team members needs when the opportunity arises
• Maintains knowledge of the restaurant floor plan and table numbers, seating the room evenly and consistently per management’s instruction
• Communicates with management, and service staff immediately to rectify any and all guest needs and requests
• Ensure work area is in compliance with the Southern Nevada Heath District health codes at all times
• Perform proper register and cash handling techniques
• Must communicate the “Infinity” rewards information to each guest clearly with a smile
• Maintain proper positioning of guest stations
• Assists team members in clearing tables accordingly
• Performs opening and closing side work
• Has appropriate menu knowledge
• Responsible for completing to-go food and drink orders for guests
• Performs proper cash, rooms charge, comp, and credit card procedures
