Job summary

Lowes Foods is seeking a Chicken Kitchen Supervisor to oversee daily operations, guest interactions, and staff development in our Oak Ridge, NC location. You will ensure high standards of service, quality, and sanitation while driving sales and profitability.

You will train and mentor team members, manage inventory, and perform PA announcements as needed to maintain a brand-aligned experience for guests.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.

• Ability to supervise people including training and development.
• Effective communication and guest service skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and stand for extended periods.
• Knowledge of deli and chicken kitchen operations.

To grow community by supervising and ensuring all Chicken Kitchen hosts provide personal guest interactions that build genuine relationships with guests and result in a brand-aligned experience while maintaining operations standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure our guests receive polite, friendly service from all chicken kitchen staff.
• To personally demonstrate superior guest service at all times.
• Achieve sales, shrink and profit goals for the chicken kitchen.
• Maintain desired level of inventory and supplies.
• Operate the department according to strict merchandising and operational standards.
• Ensure the quality of product for sale meets Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department according to Lowes Foods standards.
• Provide guidance, orientation, training and feedback to ensure chicken kitchen staff achieve satisfactory performance standards.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking and guest service as necessary to achieve standards.
• Maintain department’s labor budget and scheduling standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Perform PA announcements.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to effectively communicate with, and take direction from supervision.
