Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. seeks a hands-on Chick Processing Associate to support biosecure production lines. You will move chicks to grading wheels, sort for defects, and operate automated vaccination and beak-treat systems to fulfill customer orders.

This role requires physical stamina, adherence to safety and animal welfare guidelines, and flexibility to perform additional duties as needed on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a biosecure environment with required hygiene practices.
• Ability to lift and move heavy chick boxes as part of daily tasks.
• Follows safety policies and company animal welfare guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Transfer chicks from boxes to grading wheel as directed.
• Grade newly hatched chicks for defects.
• Operate robot to vaccinate and bead/b beak-treat birds per order.
• Perform toe trim for identification if required.
• Dub/mark male birds per customer order.
• Assist with additional duties and maintain clean work area.
