This full-time position involves processing chicks, cleaning and sanitizing processing areas, and operating equipment. The job requires biosecurity compliance and the ability to lift and stand for long periods.

Starting wage is $17.00 per hour with additional shift differential for evenings, nights, and weekends. Schedule is Mon–Fri with alternating days off, holidays included, and may change based on

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 125 lbs.
• Willing to work in a biosecure environment with PPE.
• Schedule may change based on production needs.

Responsibilities

• Transfer chicks from boxes to grading wheel.
• Grade newly hatched chicks for defects.
• Operate, set up and clean processing equipment.
• De-toeing chicks according to customer order.
• Administer coccivac according to customer order.
