Chick-fil-A Jefferson Pointe is seeking a Team Leader to join our management team in Fort Wayne, IN. You will guide and assist Team Members to deliver exceptional guest experiences and achieve service and revenue goals.

As a Team Leader, you will coach, train, and mentor staff, manage schedules, and support daily operations to uphold Chick-fil-A standards. This role requires leadership initiative, strong communication, and a positive work ethic.

Chick-fil-A Jefferson Pointe hires leadership professionals who want to acquire skills to build their career portfolio and grow within the company. This includes high-level hospitality, business, coaching, and overall leadership skills and competencies.

We are seeking Team Leaders to join our management team. A Team leader may be referred to in other businesses as an Assistant Manager, Shift Lead, etc. Team Leaders at Chick-fil-A help support the business by communicating, training, and coaching all Team Members on achieving and exceeding service and revenue goals. As a Team Leader, you will assist in overseeing employees in the continual pursuit of “Operational Excellence” while creating a positive work culture in the area of the business that you are assigned. We have Team Leaders assigned to both the hospitality and kitchen side of the business. A successful Team Leader must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work efficiently. The Team Leaders report to either the Front of House or Back of House Director.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 or older
• 2+ years experience preferred in leading others
• Proven ability to lead a team of 15+ team members
• Strong financial acumen, including ability to manage change fund, safe, etc.
• Basic computer and iPad competency
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position which includes, but is not limited to, standing for up to 10 hours and lifting up to 50lbs

Responsibilities:

• Delivers a “REMARK”able experience for all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A.
• Works with other members of the Management Team to drive overall results of the business.
• Ensures his/her area of the business is adequately scheduled to meet the needs of our guests
• Serves as a Leader, trainer, and mentor to the Team Members on his/her team.
• Trains new Team Members and follows up to ensure they’re equipped for success
• Ensures Chick-fil-A policies and procedures are followed
• Conducts one‑one coaching sessions with team members, maintains a positive working relationship, and treats all employees with dignity, honor, and respect while holding them accountable for their individual responsibilities.
• Performs daily cleanliness checks throughout all areas of the restaurant
• Responsible for inventory management, and ensures the products are being rotated using the FIFO principle
• Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items
