Job summary

Chick-fil-A Bishops Corner is seeking a Back of House Team Member to join our restaurant in West Hartford. You will work directly with the restaurant Operator and leadership team to prepare, cook, and plate high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth within a values-driven team. We hire for attitude and train for skill; no prior experience is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Available to work at least 3 days per week and most Fridays and Saturdays.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Willing to work flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently.
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed.
• Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times.
• Complete opening or closing tasks as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

Back of House (BOH) Position Type:

• Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, primary, secondary, machines and food prep
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed
• Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times
• Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A®
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership
• Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes
• Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
• Other duties as assigned

Back of House Team Members are the HEART of the house. These Team Members fill critical roles in the restaurant: consistently preparing and serving “CRAVE”able food for our guests with a level of excellence and quality that most quick-service restaurants do not demand. You will prepare, cook, and assemble food products that are of amazing quality and freshness for our

guests. You will be surrounded by quality individuals like yourself, in a fast-paced, fun environment, in which you will be challenged to learn and grow.

You must be the minimum age of 18 years old to apply for this job.
