Job summary

A fast-growing real estate platform is looking for a sharp Portfolio Accountant to manage financial reporting for a portfolio of income-producing properties. This role involves leading financial reporting, account analysis, and reconciliation while offering competitive compensation and a clear advancement path. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, 2+ years of relevant experience, and strong Excel skills. The position requires residency in the Chicago area and authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or public accounting.
• CPA preferred.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Analyze GL activity and reconcile accounts.
• Manage bank reconciliations and accruals.
