Job summary

TrumpCard in Elk Grove Village, IL is seeking a professional truck driver to safely and efficiently operate a commercial vehicle for local pickups and deliveries to airline and customer sites. You will load and unload cargo, maintain logs, and communicate with dispatch daily.

The role requires a valid CDL, at least 3 years of driving experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and compliance with DOT safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma
• 3 years commercial driving experience
• Must hold valid Driver’s License. Must be able to operate a truck with a capacity of 26,000 plus pounds gross vehicle weight.
• Ability to operate handheld computer / cellular telephone. Time management, processing paperwork
• Must have basic knowledge of computers and email. The ability to operate handheld device used to communicate shipment information
• Must have knowledge of, and follow, DOT Safety standards
• Must pass a background check
• Must pass an MVR check

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport cargo to and from customer locations and airport.
• Maintain telephone contact with dispatcher to receive instructions.
• Neatly complete bill of ladings and MAWB’s for airlines in order to tender freight.
• Maintain driver logbook and daily vehicle inspection report according to I.C.C regulations.
• Interact daily with customers.
