The Walsh Group is seeking co-op students for the Midwest region in the Chicagoland area. The program rotates you through 3–5 work terms, each four months long, aligned with your college schedule to balance academics and work experience.

Participants will explore multiple career paths, work with project managers and field supervision, and may transition to a full-time position after graduation. Benefits include medical insurance, paid holidays, 401(k) matching, and EAP.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Ability to work a 12-week work schedule is preferred.
• Enrollment in a cooperative education program at a college or university is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist project manager or field supervision with project coordination.
• Estimate costs for change orders.
• Solicit bidders and coordinate subcontractor activity.
• Schedule contracts and materials.
• Document control and coordination of subcontractors.
• Support safety management and team meetings.
• Prepare RFIs and submittals, assist in change orders.
