Performance Trust in Chicago, IL offers a Rotational Sales and Trading Internship for summers 2027, spanning 8–10 weeks. You’ll rotate across Sales and Trading teams, gain hands-on exposure to market dynamics, and work on strategy development, risk analysis, and trade analysis under mentorship.

Ideal candidates are rising juniors graduating between Winter 2027 and Spring 2028, pursuing Finance, Economics, Math, CS, or Engineering, with Excel proficiency and interest in fixed income.

Qualificações

• Enrollment in accredited bachelor’s program graduating between Winter 2027 and Spring 2028.
• Pursuing degrees in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated interest in financial markets, fixed income, corporate finance, and/or banking through coursework, internships, or projects.
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Python or other programming language is a plus.
• Curious, quick-learning mindset with ability to understand how parts of a financial services business operate.

Responsabilidades

• Support traders and sales with data collection, market research, and trade ideas/analysis.
• Structure and analyze bond cash flows using tools like Bloomberg, Intex and YieldBook.
• Analyze fixed income securities, bond cash flows, market data, and opportunities.
• Assist with evaluating client balance sheets and investment objectives.
• Build and maintain analytical tools, reports, and workflow enhancements in Excel and other systems.
• Support projects related to new products, business development, technology, or process improvement.
• Work with experienced professionals to understand risk, pricing, and post‑trade processes.
• Present findings and market observations to team members and leadership.
