Job summary

Arlo Hotels Chicago is seeking a Bartender/Server to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. You will prepare and serve beverages, take orders, input into POS, and ensure guest satisfaction.

Requirements include prior bartending or serving experience, strong communication and customer service skills, ability to multitask in a busy setting, knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine, and 21+ eligibility to serve alcohol in Chicago.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a bartender or server preferred.

• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards and customer preferences.
• Take food and drink orders, input them into the POS system, and deliver items promptly.
• Engage with guests to provide recommendations, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and service areas.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service policies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
