Job summary

Synergy HomeCare in Northern New Jersey is hiring NJ Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) to support disabled seniors with compassionate, non-medical care. We offer full-time or part-time hours, including weekdays, weekends, and live-in options across Essex, Union, Hudson, Morris and Passaic Counties.

As a Caregiver, you will provide companionship, assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders, and maintain professional communication with clients and families.

Qualifications

• COVID-19 vaccine and booster required.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Evidence of a negative TB test.
• Wellness physical exam completed.
• National background check required.
• A valid driver's license and reliable car preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide attention to clients’ non-medical needs, including companionship and social engagement.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
• Establish communication and a professional relationship with clients, family members, and co-workers.
• Provide reliable care by being punctual and consistently covering shifts.
