Job summary

VNA Health Group in New Jersey is hiring a Full-Time Hospice Home Health Aide to serve Bergen County. You will provide personal care per the plan of care, assist with mobilization and rehabilitation, and communicate with patients and families while submitting required documentation.

Qualified candidates hold a Home Health Aide certification, have strong communication and organizational skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services as established in the plan of care
• Assists patients with mobilization and rehabilitation

• Ensures compliance of agency infection control and safety policies
• Adheres to the organization’s policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance
• Omission of specific duties does not exclude them from this position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment for this position

Working Conditions/Physical Demand: Working indoors with client/customer contact; use of specific equipment as braces, bedpan, crutches, electrical bed, hoyer lift, personal automobile, walker, wheelchair, household appliances, vacuum cleaner etc.

In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the compensation range for this position is USD $16.00 to USD $24.00.
