Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Home Health Aides (HHAs/CHHAs) to support clients in their own homes across Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, Cumberland and Salem Counties. Training is available for qualified candidates, with flexible day, evening, and weekend shifts. Pay is WEEKLY, with HOLIDAY pay and referral bonuses.

Spanish speakers welcome. We provide CHHA training opportunities through the New Jersey Board of Nursing and connect you with nearby clients to minimize commute times.

Qualifications

• Must be compassionate, patient and dependable.
• Ability to travel to clients' homes as assigned.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including days/evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate one-on-one care under a written plan of care.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing.
• Meal preparation and feeding; medication reminders.
• Light housekeeping and laundry; bed making.
• Assistance with ambulation and transfers; ROM exercises.
• Vital sign checks; monitor health status.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.

What You'll Do

As a BAYADA Home Health Aide, you'll provide compassionate one-on-one care based on a written plan of care under the direction of a registered nurse.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Bathing, grooming, and toileting
• Dressing and personal hygiene
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Medication reminders
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Bed making and other household tasks
• Assistance with ambulation and transfers
• Range-of-motion exercises
• Vital sign checks
• Companionship and emotional support
• Helping clients maintain their independence at home

What We're Looking For

• Able to travel to clients' homes as assigned
• Comfortable working independently with clients

For Experienced CHHAs

Candidates applying for HHA/CHHA positions should have:

• A current CHHA/HHA credential in good standing with the New Jersey Board of Nursing
• Previous caregiving or home health experience, when required for the position
