Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Certified Homemaker-Home Health Aides (CHHAs) to serve Camden County and nearby areas. Flexible scheduling and training opportunities are available to qualified candidates so you can grow with a nationally recognized home health care provider.

In this role, you’ll deliver compassionate one-on-one care under a registered nurse’s plan of care, assisting with daily activities, personal care, meal prep, and mobility.

Qualifications

• CHHA/HHA credential required and in good standing with the New Jersey Board of Nursing.
• Experience in caregiving is preferred but not always required.
• Must be willing to travel to clients' homes and work in home environments.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

As a BAYADA Home Health Aide, you'll provide compassionate one-on-one care based on a written plan of care under the direction of a registered nurse.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Bathing, grooming, and toileting
• Dressing and personal hygiene
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Medication reminders
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Bed making and other household tasks
• Assistance with ambulation and transfers
• Range-of-motion exercises
• Vital sign checks
• Companionship and emotional support
• Helping clients maintain their independence at home

What We're Looking For

• Comfortable working independently with clients

For Experienced CHHAs

Candidates applying for HHA/CHHA positions should have:

• A current CHHA/HHA credential in good standing with the New Jersey Board of Nursing
• Previous caregiving or home health experience, when required for the position
