BAYADA Home Health Care is actively hiring Home Health Aides to provide reliable in-home care in the Bloomfield area, serving Newark and surrounding cities. You will follow a nurse’s written care plan to support adults at home through personal care and household tasks.

Responsibilities include bathing, grooming, meal prep, light housekeeping, ROM exercises, and medication reminders. Excellent patient communication and a compassionate, respectful approach are essential.

Competenze

• Empathy, patience, kindness and respect.
• Ability to read/write and communicate in English.
• Social Security Number and Government Identification required.
• Verifiable work history with minimum 1 year recent experience.
• Two professional references required (colleagues, peers, coworkers).
• TB test (PPD, QuantiFERON, or Chest X-ray) required.

Belleville, Bloomfield, East Orange, Irvington, Montclair, Newark, South Orange, and West Orange.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a member of BAYADA’s personal care team, you will do truly meaningful work—and be valued, respected, and heard. Following a written care plan by a registered nurse, you’ll provide a personal care service and household support to help adults stay safe and independent at home.

• Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, etc.
• Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, etc.
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Range of motion/exercises
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/Use of mechanical lifting devices/Hoyer lift
